Oh! Not only is it very attractive but also very very tasty.
No....I am not talking of normal Puri ......I am talking of SPICY PURI.
Puri..Spicy?
Yes...
Here's the receipe to an amazingly tasty SPICY PURI.
Enjoy.

SPICY PURI

Ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup Rice flour
1 cup Maida flour
8 green chillies or
Red chillies or equal quantity of both
Salt
1/2 cup fresh coconut
2 inch ginger
2 medium whole garlic flakes
2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 cup coriander
1 medium size onion
Oil for frying

Method:

Grind onion,
ginger,
garlic,
coconut,
coriander,
garam masala finely with less water.

Mix all three flours, salt and add the grinded paste.
Pour 2 tbsp hot oil and mix thoroughly.
Add little water to make hard dough.

Roll out like small puri and fry in hot oil.

If you want soft puris then fry rolled out puris immediately.

If you prefer to have crisp puris fry rolled out puris leaving a gap of 5 to 8 min after rolling it.

Enjoy with your favourite curries
(I prefer PEAS curry)

PUDINA PARATHA
Prepation Time : 30 mins
Cooking time : 30 mins

Parathas can be a good way to instill HEALTH in your family.
Fill the Paratha with PUDINA (MINT).

Mint strengthens your immune system and helps fight infections.

So, how about a PUDINA PARATHA ?

INGREDIENTS

Fresh pudina leaves 2 bunches
Green chillies
Salt
Coriander leaves
1/2 tsp jeera powder
2 cup Wheat Flour
1 cup Maida Flour

Method:
Wash mint leaves and coriander leaves and grind with chilly.
You can either add coconut to this,
But preferably do not add coconut as it contains fat.

Mix wheat flour and maida flour with salt, jeerapowder and turmeric in it.

Now add the grinded paste to this flour and mix throughly.
Add hot oil 2 tbsp and  make dough.

Roll like chappatis
Then, fry  on hot tava with oil or ghee on both
sides.
You can of course, flip it 2-3 times to give it a ROASTED look.

The best thing about Pudina Paratha is that it can be had with Curry, Pickle, Raitha, or even with a Sauce.

Some children like it with Sauce.

This can also be a good Sunday Snack.
Pudina Paratha HAS TO BE COMPULSORILY SERVED HOT.
